But before the ball starts rolling at Etihad Park, there's a transition period. MLS will host a unique, shortened season from February to May 2027, featuring just 14 regular-season games, playoffs, and the MLS Cup. During this time, NYCFC will call Yankee Stadium and Citi Field home.
