Awit Awards 2025 Highlights: BINI, SB19, and More! (2025)

The 2025 Awit Awards ceremony was a night to remember, with BINI and SB19 dominating the stage! But who took home the top honors? And what made this year's event so special?

The Fan-Favorite Groups: BINI, a rising group in the industry, swept three major awards, including the People's Choice for Favorite Group Artist, Album of the Year for 'Talaarawan,' and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for their chart-topper 'Salamin, Salamin.' Their dedicated fans, known as Blooms, also won the highly-coveted Vibe Stan Award. But here's where it gets interesting: SB19, another fan favorite, didn't go home empty-handed either. They snagged four awards, including Best Global Collaboration Recording, Best Rap/Hip-Hop Recording, Best Cover Art, and Best Music Video.

Individual Achievements: Members of SB19 also shone individually. Stell won the Breakthrough Artist award for his solo song 'Room' and was crowned Favorite New Solo Artist. Felip, another member, won the People's Voice Favorite Solo Artist award. And Justin added to the group's success by winning Favorite Music Video of the Year for 'Surreal.'

Grand Awards: The night's biggest honors went to various talented artists. Ben&Ben's 'The Traveller Across Dimensions' won Album of the Year, while Lola Amour's 'Namimiss Ko Na' took home Record of the Year. Cup of Joe's 'Misteryoso' was named Song of the Year. Performance Awards: In the performance categories, Dionela claimed the Solo Artist award. A Wide Range of Categories: The Awit Awards celebrated diverse genres and collaborations. SB19 and Terry Zhong's global collaboration on 'Moonlight' won Best Global Collaboration Recording. Special and Technical Honors: The ceremony also acknowledged regional recordings, with Juan Karlos and Kyle Echarri's 'Kasing Kasing' and Noel Cabangon's 'Umaycan' taking the spotlight. Debonair District's 'Paskong Mag-Isa' won Best Christmas Recording, and Regine Velasquez's 'Ulit Ulit' from 'Pamilya Sagrado' was named Best Original Soundtrack. Introvert Fiesta ft. AJi's 'Atras Abante' won Best Novelty Recording, and December Avenue's 'Face of God' inspired with the Inspirational Recording award. Maki's 'Dilaw' and Jay-R and Dionela's 'Sining' won in the pop and R&B categories, respectively. Technical achievements were celebrated with awards for Arthur Nery, Axel Fernandez, Khalil Refuerzo, Luke Isnani, Felip Suson, Ena Mori, and Kenyema for their exceptional work behind the scenes.
